....How will our thoughts and experiences co-exist? How can I exercise that hope in asking, in conversing, in writing and acting while making space for my sisters who feel differently? I don't know yet, but I want you to know that I honour you. I claim you as my sister even if I know you may not claim me as yours. I want us to join hands and learn to understand one another, to carry one another's burdens and to work together to build a sisterhood in Zion. Perhaps being of one heart and one mind doesn't mean that we agree or see things the same, perhaps it just means that we learn to honour one another and knit our hearts together in spite of our differences. I don't have the answers, but let's keep trying.
The answer is simple, and it lies at the heart of this issue as it was revealed by God through the Apostle Paul; "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" Ephesians 4: 11-13
The problem is that women like Amy, Kelly and other OW supporters, are not amenable to accepting revelation, particularly when it contradicts what they want personally to have happen.
As long as they willfully do not understand, reject the living prophets, and strive to enforce their flawed human perceptions on others, they will never be able to see a unity. When they say they want to build sisterhood, they mean they want you to set aside your belief system and testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel and the doctrines of revelation, priesthood power, exalted role of womanhood, etc. and embrace their lower, mortal versions of those doctrines, then and only then will they will be one with their Sisters. It reminds me of Obama, and his……. give me everything I want, and then we will sit down and talk…..never answering the question of what there would be left to talk about????...... Ridiculous.
The real answer is for the apostate and deceived OW members to admit their errors, and submit to He whose RIGHT it is to rule and reign, even Jesus Christ. Once they set aside their flawed human reasoning, and open their spiritual eyes to see things as they really are, humbly submit to God and cast aside the culture of envy, then will the unity promised by Paul come about….. until then, this article is amounts to nothing more than the old Satan inspired desire to take joy in
iniquity, and reminds me of Mormon's people: "But behold this my joy was vain, for their sorrowing was not unto repentance, because of the goodness of God; but it was rather the sorrowing of the damned, because the Lord would not always suffer them to take happiness in sin."
OW wants to live contrary to the laws of heaven, foster apostate beliefs, and still be happily embraced in the Gospel. They want to continue in their unacceptable path, and still be accepted, but as Paul warned: "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." This is the example of the unclean
thing wanting to be embraced as is, not willing to admit error or change, but demanding acceptance without change. Sadly, since God cannot look upon sin with the east degree of allowance, this selfish dream of the OW supporters can never be.
