1. D & C 19: 4-12
4. And surely every man must repent or suffer, for I, God, am endless.
5 Wherefore, I revoke not the judgments which I shall pass, but woes shall go forth, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth, yea, to those who are found on my cleft hand.
6 Nevertheless, it is not written that there shall be no end to this torment, but it is written endless torment.
7 Again, it is written eternal damnation; wherefore it is more express than other scriptures, that it might work upon the hearts of the children of men, altogether for my name’s glory.
8 Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.
9 I speak unto you that are chosen in this thing, even as one, that you may enter into my rest.
10 For, behold, the mystery of godliness, how great is it! For, behold, I am endless, and the punishment which is given from my hand is endless punishment, for Endless is my name. Wherefore—
11 Eternal punishment is God’s punishment.
12 Endless punishment is God’s punishment.
Notes:
A. it must be noted that the endless torment mentioned here is that suffered in the spirit world, for as Section 76 later makes clear, all except the Sons of perdition shall be brought forth from the suffering and inherit a kingdom of glory. See (D&C 76 Reference following) There is no evidence that life in the telestial kingdom is anything like the punishment and suffering that the Lord expounds upon in this section.
B. Even if one were to take the verse to the extreme and extrapolate that every other reference to “Endless” and “Eternal” should be transliterated to mean “God’s”, there are a host of other, clearly defined words, that leave no doubt in scripture as to the never ending status of those assigned a kingdom of glory. See (Alma 40:13-14)
2. D & C 29:26-29
26 But, behold, verily I say unto you, before the earth shall pass away, Michael, mine archangel, shall sound his trump, and then shall all the dead awake, for their graves shall be opened, and they shall come forth—yea, even all.
27 And the righteous shall be gathered on my right hand unto eternal life; and the wicked on my left hand will I be ashamed to own before the Father;
28 Wherefore I will say unto them—Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.
29 And now, behold, I say unto you, never at any time have I declared from mine own mouth that they should return, for where I am they cannot come, for they have no power.
Notes: This revelation was given a little over a year after that in Section 19. That the Lord is speaking here of the end times after the millennial reign and the resurrection is clear from the context. It is telling the Lord clarifies that he “Never” has taught that at that point those on his left should return, and declares the indelible truth that they “have not the power” The reference to the Lord being where they cannot come is later supported by D & C 76 112.
3. D&C 76:109-112
109 But behold, and lo, we saw the glory and the inhabitants of the telestial world, that they were as innumerable as the stars in the firmament of heaven, or as the sand upon the seashore;
110 And heard the voice of the Lord saying: These all shall bow the knee, and every tongue shall confess to him who sits upon the throne forever and ever;
111 For they shall be judged according to their works, and every man shall receive according to his own works, his own dominion, in the mansions which are prepared;
112 And they shall be servants of the Most High; but where God and Christ dwell they cannot come, worlds without end.
Note: The context of verses indicates that God is speaking of the inhabitant of the Telelstial world, who as resurrected beings will inherit the kingdom of glory they merited, and will at that point recognize and confess the divinity of Christ, yet still will not have access to the kingdom and dwelling place of God and Christ, “worlds without end.” There is no play on words in that declaration, no grounds of assigning it a meaning other than its plain meaning, “worlds without end” in this context must mean ….. never. It should also be noted that the term “world without end” from the Bible is based in a Greek term for perpetuity.
4. D & C 132:16-17
16 Therefore, when they are out of the world they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but are appointed angels in heaven, which angels are ministering servants, to minister for those who are worthy of a far more, and an exceeding, and an eternal weight of glory.
17 For these angels did not abide my law; therefore, they cannot be enlarged, but remain separately and singly, without exaltation, in their saved condition, to all eternity; and from henceforth are not gods, but are angels of God forever and ever.
Note the teaching that there is no way for these to be married and as God declares they will be without exaltation forever and ever. (See also D & C 131:4)
5. D & C 132:27
The blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, which shall not be forgiven in the world nor out of the world, is in that ye commit murder wherein ye shed innocent blood, and assent unto my death, after ye have received my new and everlasting covenant, saith the Lord God; and he that abideth not this law can in nowise enter into my glory, but shall be damned, saith the Lord.
Note: For the sons of perdition there is clearly no repentance. (See also D & C 76:32-40, Matt 12:32, JST Mark 3:24)
6. 2 Peter 2:17, 20-21
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
7. Matthew 25: 41, 46
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:…
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
8. I Corinthians 6:9
9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Note: See also Galatians 5:21. Paul seemed to believe that such persons would NOT inherit the kingdom of God, period, and left no out for future repentance. It seems clear that He wanted the Saints to separate themselves from sin while they had the chance.

And you that will not partake of the goodness of God, and respect the words of the Jews, and also my words, and the words which shall proceed forth out of the mouth of the Lamb of God, behold, I bid you an everlasting farewell, for these words shall condemn you at the last day.
Note: Nephi teaches that he will never again see those he describes as having rejected God. (See also 2 Nephi 9:38)
11. Alma12: 6-32
6 And behold I say unto you all that this was a snare of the adversary, which he has laid to catch this people, that he might bring you into subjection unto him, that he might encircle you about with his chains, that he might chain you down to everlasting destruction, according to the power of his captivity…
32 Therefore God gave unto them commandments, after having made known unto them the plan of redemption, that they should not do evil, the penalty thereof being a second death, which was an everlasting death as to things pertaining unto righteousness; for on such the plan of redemption could have no power, for the works of justice could not be destroyed, according to the supreme goodness of God.
Note: Those who die the second death, suffer that consequence everlastingly.
12. Alma 34: 32-35
32 For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors.
33 And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.
34 Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.
35 For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked.
Note: Alma explains one reason why no work can be done in the “night of darkness”, because their hearts had not, and will not, change. See also (D & C 29:43-44 & 3 Nephi 27:33)
13. Alma 40:25-26 (Speaking of the status of souls AFTER the resurrection)
25 And then shall the righteous shine forth in the kingdom of God.
26 But behold, an awful death cometh upon the wicked; for they die as to things pertaining to things of righteousness; for they are unclean, and no unclean thing can inherit the kingdom of God; but they are cast out, and consigned to partake of the fruits of their labors or their works, which have been evil; and they drink the dregs of a bitter cup.
Note: Alma teachings to Corianton were to convince him the error of his justification of his actions on a belief that no matter what he did he would be restored to righteousness, a doctrine similar to eat drink and be merry, and to believing that after the final judgment one can still be “restored to” righteousness.
14. Helaman 12:25-26
25 And I would that all men might be saved. But we read that in the great and last day there are some who shall be cast out, yea, who shall be cast off from the presence of the Lord;
26 Yea, who shall be consigned to a state of endless misery, fulfilling the words which say: They that have done good shall have everlasting life; and they that have done evil shall have everlasting damnation. And thus it is. Amen.
Note: I love that Helaman feels the desire for there to be a way for all to be saved, but acknowledges it is not so. (See also Helman 13:38)
15. 3 Nephi 27:11 & 17
11 But if it be not built upon my gospel, and is built upon the works of men, or upon the works of the devil, verily I say unto you they have joy in their works for a season, and by and by the end cometh, and they are hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence there is no return.
17 And he that endureth not unto the end, the same is he that is also hewn down and cast into the fire, from whence they can no more return, because of the justice of the Father.
