Afghanistan Dawning was written amidst a vicious war that has killed countless Soldiers and civilians. Though this novel is fiction, it is based on a premise that there is still a great hope for God's children in that land. That hope is found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, lived to its fullest and radiating the most powerful agent of change...
Whisperings of Far West reveals the fascinating history of a once prominent Mormon settlement that has all but disappeared. Though the city, (the first county seat of Caldwell County, Missouri), rose and was destroyed in a very short time span, the riveting scenes that occurred there form a vital part of Mormon history and reveal much about the emotional, political, spiritual and physical struggles of an oppressed and misunderstood people, who were striving to serve their God against overwhelming odds. The historical vignettes within this book, enhanced by poems, ballads, parables and sonnets...
This book provides a concise defense of the doctrines of Mormonism against the Modern0day Pharisees.
One of the characteristics of the true church of Jesus Christ is that it will always face persecution and attack. This book outlines the similarities between the Pharisees of old who sought to persecute Jesus and his kingdom, and their modern day counterparts who carry on the same work today.
This book is for all those who believe that aside from the Sacred Grove and perhaps the baptism of Jesus, God, our Eternal Heavenly Father, has had few dealings with the children of men on this earth. While writing this book I came to know as never before that Heavenly Father is ever vigilant of this world and all who live in it. Furthermore, he has actually been present upon this earth at many times and places throughout its history, which testifies to the truth that along with His Son Jesus, our Father, the great Elohim, is a loving being who will continue to minister to our world through all time!
For over 167 years the center place of the Mormon Church and Latter-day Saints has been Salt Lake City, Utah. Yet among those very saints has dwelt a knowledge of, and hope for, future events when Zion, the New Jerusalem, will be established in the area of Jackson and Caldwell counties in the central state of Missouri. It is difficult to conceive of how it will ever be that a church so entrenched in one area, could pull up stakes and move everything to another state, prior to the Lord’s millennia return. This work of fiction, outlines one way that such an event may actually come to pass. While this book is in fact fiction and any relation to real events or real people is in the mind of the beholder, some of these events are based in actual experiences. Thus the fact that they have not happened as portrayed here does not mean that they cannot happen. The author is certain that there will definitely come a day when, as the Lord has prophesied though His leaders, that the “law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” Isaiah 2:3. This fictional story represents one way in which that prophesy may come to be fulfilled.
